His research has resulted in several peer-reviewed publications, including studies on disability-free life expectancy, spatial modeling of dengue fever, and spatio-temporal disease mapping. He has also led training workshops on epidemiological methods and statistical software, reflecting his passion for teaching and knowledge sharing.
Mehedi is currently a full-time Ph.D. student in the Public Health program with a concentration in Epidemiology at Georgia State University under the supervision of Dr. Alexander Kirpich, where he also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant. His research interests include infectious disease modeling, spatial epidemiology, Bayesian methods, and applications of biostatistics in global health.
