Alexander Kirpich, Ph.D. attended Epidemics 9: the International Conference on Infectious Disease Dynamics in Bologna, Italy, from 28 November to 1 December 2023. Two poster talks were presented. The poster talk titles were "Clustering-Based Multi-Characteristic Comparative Analysis of COVID-19 Epidemiology in Europe" and "An Investigation of the Seasonal Relationships Between Meteorological Factors, Water Quality, and Sporadic Cases of Legionnaires' Disease in Washington, DC." The poster talk "An Investigation of the Seasonal Relationships Between Meteorological Factors, Water Quality, and Sporadic Cases of Legionnaires' Disease in Washington, DC" received the 2nd Prize Poster Award, which includes a publication fee waiver for one publication in the Epidemics Journal.
